💼 About This Role

You'll join the Production Engineering Team at Snowflake, driving reliability tools and processes to ensure a top-tier customer experience. You'll champion Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across Engineering, build infrastructure for rapid issue detection, and deeply engage in system health verification after releases. You'll help scale systems sustainably through automation and foster a culture of learning from incidents.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Improve lifecycle of services from inception through deployment and refinement
• Scale systems sustainably by automation to improve reliability and velocity
• Establish low-noise incident response rotations and blameless postmortems
• Collaborate with engineers to establish and optimize functional and performance SLOs

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in at least one modern language, preferably Golang
• Systematic problem-solving methods and effective communication skills

✨ Nice to Have

• 6+ years industry experience building and supporting large scale systems in production
• Experience with modern observability tools and production monitoring
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
