Description

In this role, you will develop firmware for Lyft's micromobility products such as electric bikes, scooters, and stations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, develop, and launch new products, as well as improve existing ones to enhance the overall user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years developing in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automated testing.
• Experience using an embedded real-time OS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, etc).
• Understanding of low-level OS concepts (memory management, scheduling, threads, interrupts).

Responsibilities

• Develop features for embedded systems across micromobility product line (vehicles, docks, internal tools).
• Work with cross-functional teams to prototype, develop, and take to production next-generation mobility products.
• Implement refinements and updates to improve the overall experience on existing products.
