Description

As a software engineer on the Starshield GNC Operations Software team, you will write software for satellite telemetry, alerting, autonomous fault detection, and operations tooling. You will own the complete lifecycle of your software, collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers, and participate in on-orbit operations to ensure mission objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, physics, or other engineering discipline
• Development experience in C, C++, Python, or similar programming languages

Responsibilities

• Own complete lifecycle of software: development, testing, deployment, operational support
• Develop highly reliable software for tasking and monitoring satellites in low-earth orbit
• Design and implement performant satellite flight software
• Build automated ground-based systems integrating data processing with satellite control
• Lead on-orbit operations through all flight phases, including on-call rotations and commanding
