You'll lead program execution and internal R&D for carrier-based Group 5 autonomous platforms at a defense technology company. Your core impact is translating real-world carrier operations into engineering requirements and delivering capability to the U.S. Navy faster. This role blends deep carrier flight operations expertise with program management and internal R&D leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with leadership to drive cost, schedule, and performance for autonomous platforms.
• Serve as resident expert on carrier flight operations and deck integration.
• Translate carrier operational constraints into technical requirements and autonomy inputs.
• Lead internal R&D investments, owning scope, schedule, budget, and technical outcomes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, IT, CS, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years combined experience in program management, naval aviation, or carrier aircraft development.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance and eligibility for Top Secret.
• Direct military or civilian experience in U.S. Navy carrier flight operations or carrier aircraft design/integration.

✨ Nice to Have

• Graduate of military Test Pilot School or Weapons and Tactics School.
• Experience with autonomous systems or unmanned aircraft operations.
• Familiarity with Anduril's Lattice platform or similar autonomy architectures.
