Description

You will deliver technical training to prepare underemployed and unemployed individuals for careers in software development. You'll teach full-stack JavaScript, assess student progress, and collaborate with the team to support student success.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years experience on a software development team
• Experience in both front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and full-stack JavaScript (strong JavaScript preferred)
• Experience with at least one JS framework (Angular, Backbone, or React preferred)
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

Responsibilities

• Deliver technology skills training and assessments for software development careers
• Conduct daily instruction, assessment administration, and one-on-one tutoring
• Monitor student attendance, progress, and compliance with program policies
• Collaborate with Career Advancement team to connect students with employment opportunities
• Create and maintain training curricula, including content on PS Academy
