Description

You will lead the definition of future TV system architectures, working with industry partners and internal teams to innovate and prototype next-generation features for Roku's TV platform. Your work will directly impact how millions of users experience streaming television.

Requirements

• 10+ years in leadership roles within TV engineering
• Proven track record in architecting system solutions for consumer products
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML, SoC Architecture, Picture Quality, Video Processing, Display, or Audio
• Strong understanding of hardware and TV manufacturing processes
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Innovate and define future TV system architectures with product management, engineering, and external vendors
• Engage with SoC and component vendors to influence technology roadmaps
• Own and manage an innovation roadmap to integrate hardware differentiation into Roku OS
• Design and prototype hardware and software proof-of-concepts using reference designs and FPGA
• Participate in standards bodies to shape future industry standards
