Description

In this role, you will drive the technical vision and execution for intelligent systems powering personalized experiences across HelloFresh's global brands, building the backbone for hyper-personalization at scale. You will lead architecture and design for complex microservices systems, establish best practices, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Expert-level proficiency in Go, PHP, and/or JVM languages
• Proven track record leading large-scale technical projects and driving architectural decisions
• Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
• Extensive experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, and technical strategy for complex microservices systems
• Establish patterns and best practices across multiple teams
• Drive technical decision-making and architectural reviews ensuring scalability and reliability
• Support engineers across the organization fostering technical growth
• Lead critical technical initiatives and cross-team projects aligning strategy with business objectives
