Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Starlink, you will own the manufacturing and quality systems for tight tolerance machined hardware used in satellite RF systems. You will develop innovative solutions to improve quality, takt time, and yield, working closely with design engineers and machinists to drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of engineering design experience (internships, projects, or professional)
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD/PDM systems
• Hands-on experience milling, turning, and/or CMM inspection
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Own product success for precision machined parts with single-digit micron tolerances
• Interface with design engineers and machinists to implement DFM feedback
• Implement process improvements to production processes for quality and throughput
• Create capital and facility justifications and own projects through implementation
• Develop quality plans covering dimensional inspection and functional testing
