Description

You will lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and test simulation and flight software for SpaceX orbital flight systems, owning the direction and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications used to control and test these systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, math, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
• 5+ years software development in C++ and Python
• 3+ years developing automation software for electrical or mechanical systems
• 1+ years professional leadership experience
• Active Top-Secret, Top-Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead a software engineering team developing simulation and flight software and automated testing
• Manage technical results, performance evaluations, and professional growth for reports
• Develop and maintain a roadmap with clear short-term and long-term goals
• Lead architecture discussions, design decisions, and code reviews
• Oversee all phases of software development from design to operations
