Description

You will join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll products. You'll lead projects, improve platform performance, and mentor other engineers while working on complex challenges that enable global employment.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping production systems
• Practical experience designing agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to define specs, break down plans, and instrument verification
• Experience with Postgres and CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, React/Vue/Angular (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects
• Provide feedback on code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
• Debug and solve technical and business issues
• Mentor and guide other engineers
• Propose and implement platform improvements
