💼 About This Role

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll products. You'll lead major projects and help redesign how engineering work ships with autonomous agents as the default execution layer. This role offers complex challenges and significant impact in a fully remote, asynchronous culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects
• Participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
• Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers
• Propose and operationalize agentic workflows end-to-end

📋 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to think in systems and define specs clearly
• Professional experience with Postgres and CI/CD

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with functional programming languages like Elixir, Erlang, or Scala
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
• Experience with Next.js, React, Vue, or Angular
