Senior Legal Counsel - Customer Contracts

Description
You will provide strategic legal guidance for complex, high-value commercial transactions with global cloud, content, and enterprise customers, supporting the expansion of hyperscale data centre capacity while mitigating legal risks. You'll lead contract negotiations, advise on risk, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align projects with customer expectations and company standards.
Requirements
- LLB or JD from accredited law school, admitted to bar or local equivalent
- At least 8 years legal experience (4+ at law firm) in large commercial, real estate, or tech transactions
- Preference for experience in data centre leases or colocation services agreements
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills for complex commercial agreements
- Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to assess legal and regulatory risks
Responsibilities
- Manage complex customer contract negotiations for data centre capacity, leasing, and colocation services
- Identify legal risks and advise senior management on mitigation strategies
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align projects with customer expectations
- Contribute to legal strategies and process improvements to support growth
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the data centre industry in APAC
