You'll join the Lending Engineering team at Cash App to build and scale products that provide accessible credit to millions of users. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver an impact on customer economic empowerment, owning projects from hypothesis to production. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with credit risk, legal, and product managers to evolve lending capabilities.
• Lead or contribute to projects from hypothesis to production.
• Build clean, API-level financial primitives with a developer-centric approach.
• Operate and manage existing Cash services, improving team practices.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years working on complex systems and delivering quality software.
• Expertise in one or more technical areas like Java or Kotlin.
• Curiosity to find flaws in complex systems and fix them.
• Self-directed with comfort in ambiguity and transparent reasoning.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
