Description

As a Regulatory Officer, you will independently manage complex telecom regulatory matters with a focus on LATAM, monitor evolving legislation, engage with regulators, and provide practical advice to cross-functional teams to shape market strategies and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in telecoms regulation (in-house, law firm, or consultancy)
• Demonstrated autonomy and strategic foresight in unclear legal frameworks
• Experience liaising directly with telecom regulators and managing licensing processes
• Fluency in English and exceptional written communication skills
• Legal degree or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on evolving telecom legislation globally with LATAM priority
• Engage with regulators to obtain licenses and represent company interests
• Act independently in novel regulatory frameworks to provide commercially sound advice
• Support cross-functional teams with regulatory input for market entry and compliance
• Manage regulatory applications, licenses, reporting obligations, and coordination with local counsel
