💼 About This Role

You'll shape the evolution of Codex by identifying how teams use AI-powered software engineering and driving improvements across product, infrastructure, and model behavior. You'll design customer-facing software engineering experiences and build core platform primitives like container orchestration, sandboxes, RBAC, and usage controls. This role offers the opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art AI agent runtime that powers agentic experiences at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shape Codex evolution by analyzing usage patterns and driving improvements across product, infrastructure, and model behavior
• Design end-to-end customer-facing software engineering experiences for consumer and enterprise segments
• Build core platform primitives: container orchestration, sandboxes, RBAC, usage controls, analytics
• Design secure, observable full-stack systems integrating with enterprise identity and governance systems

📋 Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with production-grade distributed systems
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g. Python, Go, Rust) and concurrency/distributed systems concepts
• Experience with orchestration of scaled containerization or virtualization systems (e.g. Kubernetes, OCI)
• Experience with team/enterprise foundations: identity and access (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, RBAC, audit/compliance logging, policy enforcement

• Experience building developer tools and workflows (CLI/IDE/SDK)
