💼 About This Role
You'll drive new customer acquisition through prospecting and solution selling for Zilliz's vector database. Your core impact is building a sales pipeline from scratch and closing complex enterprise deals. You'll evangelize open-source AI/ML technology to CIOs and executive decision-makers.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Prospect for new customers via email, social media, cold-calling, and events
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and SDRs to generate pipeline
- Use solution selling to address business problems with Zilliz value proposition
- Negotiate and close complex enterprise sales deals
📋 Requirements
- 5+ years of total sales experience in SaaS/PaaS or Big Data companies
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling $250K+ ACV deals to cloud/digital native companies
- Prior customer relationships with CIOs and executive decision-makers
