💼 About This Role

You'll design and build backend services for Airwallex's global financial platform, specifically on the Spend team under the Accounting Hub. You'll own features end-to-end, from technical design to production, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data. This role offers high visibility and the chance to shape long-term architecture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable backend services for the Cards product.
• Contribute to architecture and long-term technical vision.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to production.
• Write high-quality, testable code with focus on reliability.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and design teams.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and building backend systems and APIs in production.
• Proficient in at least one backend language like Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
