Description

You will lead a team of HSE professionals to build a strong safety culture, develop and implement safety programs, and ensure compliance with legislation. Your work will directly support site leadership and engage employees to maintain a safe workplace in a fast-paced food production environment.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or related field
• Professional Health and Safety Designation (CRSP, CRST, CSP, ASP, CMIOSH)
• 10+ years Health and Safety experience with 3+ years leadership progression
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Google Suite and video conferencing

Responsibilities

• Build a safety-first culture through employee engagement and training
• Develop health and safety management systems and facilitate training
• Lead audits, site checks, and compliance gap closure
• Partner with site management to identify and mitigate job hazards
• Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and mentoring
