Description

As a Data Scientist on the Verticals team, you will leverage data and rigorous analytics to shape products and drive business decisions. You will collaborate with engineering, product, design, and operations to enhance the rider and driver experience in unique marketplaces like airports, scheduled rides, and events.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, applied math, operations research or engineering) or relevant work experience
• 3+ years industry experience in data science, analytics, or management consulting
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Ability to perform technical experiments (user split, time split, region split)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

• Construct and fit statistical or optimization models for production decisions
• Identify opportunities for growth using data and analytic frameworks
• Design and analyze online experiments and communicate results
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into action
• Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance
