You'll secure revenue-driving partnerships for The Athletic's large commercial organization. Your work will directly grow our league partnerships portfolio. You'll collaborate across teams including legal, finance, product, and editorial.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Secure and manage long-term, revenue-driving partnerships
• Grow the league partnerships portfolio accountably
• Set and execute business development strategy with Head of Global BD
• Lead cross-functional coordination with legal, finance, product, editorial, design, marketing

📋 Requirements

• 8 years of relevant business development and partnerships operations experience
• Experience in advertising sales and/or media business development
• Experience working with rights holders and sports leagues
• Ability to work autonomously and push ideas forward

✨ Nice to Have

• MBA degree
• Experience in consumer media industry
• Experience with complex strategic deal closing
