Description

You will lead research computational biology initiatives at a late-stage clinical oncology company, overseeing systems biology research and a team focused on multi-omics data analysis to inform treatment strategies and patient stratification for RAS-targeted therapies.

Requirements

• PhD in systems biology, computational biology, or related field
• 15+ years experience with significant pharma/biotech and management experience
• Deep expertise in multi-omics data integration, single-cell technologies, spatial transcriptomics
• Advanced programming in R, Python, and at least one additional language
• Proficiency with HPC, cloud platforms, workflow management tools, and MLOps

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategy for research systems biology and bioinformatics
• Lead team of computational biologists analyzing large multi-omics datasets
• Collaborate cross-functionally across research, translational, development, and medical affairs
• Drive technical innovation in AI/ML, generative AI, and MLOps for biomarker discovery and predictive modeling
• Manage external collaborations and represent company at scientific conferences
