Description

You will find and respond to security vulnerabilities across the Brex platform by performing code reviews, design reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. You'll also develop tooling for static and dynamic testing and secure developer workflows, collaborating with engineering teams to design secure product features.

Requirements

• 5+ years work experience in Application Security or related role
• Ability to find vulnerabilities in complex systems and craft custom attack chains
• Experience with threat modeling, developer education, and incident response
• Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, and AI/agentic workflows
• Collaborative mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities, demonstrate business impact, and articulate risk to drive prioritization
• Perform penetration testing and design reviews; work with engineering to design secure features
• Maintain and build internal tools to automate security efforts, SAST, DAST, and secure development practices
• Build a culture of collaborative security excellence through technical leadership and mentorship
