💼 About This Role

You'll fabricate prototype parts and assemblies for powered heavy-duty truck trailers at a fast-moving EV startup. Your work directly enables pilot deployments and helps transition hardware to production. You'll collaborate closely with engineers to improve design for manufacturability.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Fabricate prototype parts from engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Operate and maintain MIG/TIG welders, mills, lathes, press brakes, waterjet, and 3D printers.
• Partner with engineers in design reviews to improve manufacturability and quality.
• Enforce safe work practices and uphold craftsmanship standards.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication in a professional shop environment.
• Expert-level MIG & TIG welding on steel and aluminum.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, OnShape) to edit models and design fixtures.
• Experience with manual mills, lathes, CNC press brakes, and waterjet.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in automotive, EV, aerospace, or heavy equipment prototype shops.
• Hands-on expertise with FDM/SLA 3D printing and fabrication of G-10 composite parts.
• Forklift certification and AWS Certified Welder (CW) credential.
