Description

You will design and develop high-reliability electronics for nuclear fuel enrichment technology, taking ownership of hardware from concept through production. You'll perform systems trades, component selection, schematic capture, prototyping, debugging, and qualification testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Evidence of exceptional ability (prior projects, portfolio, completed products)
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles
• 3+ years of design experience in power electronics (research/extracurricular projects qualify)
• Experience developing new hardware, not just incremental updates

Responsibilities

• Develop high reliability electronics for enrichment technology, focusing on power electronics and controls
• Perform systems trades, requirements capture, component selection, design analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, design documentation, manufacturing planning, and production test
• Create development and qualification testing campaigns to exercise designs to their limits
• Work with experts from other teams to ensure fielded systems are efficient, manufacturable, and reliable
• Challenge assumptions and build strong professional relationships
