Description

You will be the materials and processes expert for Powder Bed Fusion additive manufacturing, owning reusable liquid propulsion products and materials systems. You'll qualify PBF materials for flight and reuse, driving system-level requirements and workflows for damage-tolerant design and inspection, while improving processes in partnership with the engineering team.

Requirements

• Expertise in Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) additive manufacturing
• Experience qualifying materials for flight or high-reliability applications
• Ability to drive system-level requirements and workflows for damage-tolerant design
• Collaboration skills to interface with engineering and production teams
• Experience developing technical specifications and engineering standards

Responsibilities

• Be the M&P discipline expert for Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) additive manufacturing of reusable launch vehicle products
• Be the M&P owner of reusable Liquid Propulsion Products and Materials Systems
• Qualify PBF materials and products for flight + reuse
• Develop, implement, and maintain technical specifications and engineering standards for PBF materials
• Drive PBF material process improvement campaigns in partnership with the PBF engineering team
