You'll join a small actuarial team supporting commercial lines like General Liability and Workers' Compensation, bridging market intelligence and data-driven product decisions. Your core impact will be ensuring competitive products while maintaining compliance across jurisdictions. This role stands out as you'll work at the intersection of actuarial insights and insurance technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and file rating plans with state Departments of Insurance
• Conduct competitor analysis using SERFF and S&P Capital IQ Pro
• Perform loss ratio analysis by line of business and territory
• Write SQL queries to extract premium and loss data from PostgreSQL

📋 Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in commercial P&C insurance product analysis or actuarial functions
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related analytical field
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction from PostgreSQL
• SERFF system knowledge for filing preparation and objection responses

• Actuarial exams (P, FM, MAS-I, MAS-II, 5)
• Experience with Metabase or similar BI dashboards
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation
