💼 About This Role

You'll provide enterprise-wide technical leadership for air quality permitting, compliance, and climate-related environmental management across Elk Valley Resources (EVR), operating four steelmaking coal mines in British Columbia. You'll guide complex air quality and fugitive dust issues, support new permits, and ensure EVR meets internal and external reporting obligations. This role offers a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off in the breathtaking Elk Valley.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership on air quality permitting and compliance.
• Support asset teams with new permits and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee regional greenhouse gas and climate-related reporting.
• Mentor and supervise Lead, Coordinator, and co-op positions.

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in air quality, environmental permitting, or compliance.
• Strong technical understanding of fugitive dust, emissions, and GHG regulations.
• Experience supporting or leading air-related permits and regulator engagement.
