💼 About This Role

You'll join Verkada's growing Public Sector Field Sales team to drive new business acquisition in State and Local government. You'll develop and execute a territory plan focusing on net new customer acquisition for AI-powered physical security solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan.
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new SLED accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly quotas with net new logos.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive deal registrations.

📋 Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of quota-carrying technology sales with focus on new business.
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing complex technical solutions.
  • Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and live in territory.

✨ Nice to Have

  • 2+ years selling to Public Sector (SLED).
  • Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology.
  • Knowledge of security software or hardware industry.
