Description

You will lead technical documentation for the Fury aircraft program, ensuring accurate, user-friendly manuals that meet government standards. You'll manage a team, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and deliver contract deliverables on time.

Requirements

• 8+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation, preferably in accordance with Mil-Standards
• 3+ years managing Technical Manual development in a fast-paced Program of Record environment
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation
• Experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for S1000D publications
• Experience building DOD-focused content in XML

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit S1000D data modules in Siemens Rapid Author
• Manage scope and schedule for contractual milestones related to Tech Manual development
• Monitor team progress and provide weekly status reporting to leadership
• Manage risk and communicate changes to stakeholders
• Lead and motivate a team of technical writers to deliver contract deliverables
