Description

You will be a key member of the data science team, deploying and localizing AI solutions for insurance clients in Japan. You'll design fraud detection algorithms, work closely with clients to understand their data and business context, and collaborate with the global team to enhance solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Experience in object-oriented programming (C# preferred) and SQL
• Ability to write quality production code
• Business fluency in Japanese and English
• Experience with Python, Git, Cloud, Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• Deploy and localize Shift Technology products for the Japanese market
• Design new fraud detection algorithms to detect complex fraud patterns
• Enhance global solutions working with head office
• Work closely with clients to understand data and business context
• Mentor junior data scientists
