Description

You will monitor and maintain industrial process equipment at SpaceX's Starbase facility, ensuring reliability and performance. You'll troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment like compressors and control systems, working with engineers to implement designs and create procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering tech + 4 years experience OR high school + 6 years in control room, plant, mechanic, or instrumentation operations
• Experience with automated processes in relevant areas
• Ability to read P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams
• Familiar with lock out tag out, job hazard analysis, hot work permitting
• Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment and process deviations and perform corrective actions
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate process equipment
• Work with engineers to implement fluid and mechanical designs
• Create and maintain hardware inventory system and procure critical spares
• Learn and run standard operating procedures on machinery
