Description

You will drive community management vision, strategy, and execution for the Firaxis portfolio (Civilization, XCOM), engaging players on Steam and Discord, serving as the player advocate to inform product and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 4-6 years working in a comparable digital community building and/or social role within gaming, media or entertainment.
• Innate knowledge and passion for engaging and growing core entertainment communities.
• Deep understanding of community management platform nuances and creator/influencer ecosystem.
• Extensive knowledge of analytical tools such as LevelUp, Radarly, Discord analytics, Tubular, and Sprinklr.
• Highly collaborative with creative and innovative ideas.
• Outgoing, intellectually curious, and proactive in building relationships.
• Highly organized, timely, and communicative.
• Extensive knowledge of video game landscape, specifically Civilization and XCOM franchises.
• Ability to aggregate, synthesize, and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Engage and build relationships with players across community platforms including Steam, Discord, Reddit.
• Partner with 2K Brand, Social, Influencer, Communications, and Firaxis teams to champion player needs.
• Create and maintain a feedback loop for title communities and cross-leverage player needs.
• Use analytics and social listening tools to identify player needs and build regular reports.
• Assist marketing, social, and communication teams with coordination and execution of marketing requests.
• Work with external agencies to build player response messaging plans and moderation guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define community growth strategies.
• Develop and execute key community programs to celebrate and promote the fan base.
• Assist with identification of key creator opportunities.
• Leverage sentiment and conversation listening tools to develop community engagement metrics and reporting.
