Description

You will oversee daily lab operations, supervise and develop staff, ensure adherence to SOPs and safety procedures, and act as a liaison between employees and senior management to meet company goals and quality objectives in a clinical laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field with 4.5+ years experience
• Master's degree with 2+ years experience
• Current ASCP certification in molecular biology
• CA State CGMBS or CLS license

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab staff performing testing and data review
• Ensure production work meets department goals
• Monitor adherence to SOPs and safety procedures
• Oversee training and development of staff
• Handle employee issues and escalate protocol deviations
