Description

We are looking for a Senior Preowned Jewellery Expert to use your specialist knowledge to evaluate and curate jewellery auctions, working with sellers and cross-functional teams to drive growth and create attractive lots for bidders.

Requirements

• Gemmology Diploma from a FEEG or GIA-recognised school
• 5–10 years experience in jewellery, diamonds, or precious stones trade
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong grasp of market prices and second-hand jewellery market dynamics
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides

Responsibilities

• Create attractive auctions by evaluating and arranging lots submitted by sellers
• Review lot titles, descriptions, pictures, and provide estimated values
• Recruit and develop new sellers in partnership with sales department
• Collaborate with marketing to increase bidder attention on auctions
• Maintain transparent and fair transactions with professional seller communication
