Description

You will own complex wire harness programs end-to-end, develop manufacturing engineering packages including work instructions and formboards, drive process improvements, serve as the technical point of contact for customers, and work closely with production, quality, and software teams to deliver high-quality harness builds at record-breaking speed.

Requirements

• Self-sufficient, technically deep, comfortable operating with minimal direction
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably wire harness or aerospace
• Knowledge of IPC-620/NASA 8739.4 and aerospace quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills with process improvement mindset
• Ability to manage multiple programs and customer relationships

Responsibilities

• Develop work instructions, formboards, and tooling solutions for complex harness builds
• Establish manufacturing standards and processes for efficient and autonomous production
• Drive improvements to quality, efficiency, and throughput through process benchmarking and workflow optimization
• Commission new equipment, qualify processes, and optimize production flow
• Serve as primary technical liaison between production and assigned customers, manage inquiries and resolve escalated issues
