Description

You will join Cubist's Data Services group to ensure timely delivery of comprehensive data to systematic Portfolio Managers. Your work involves onboarding datasets, developing data pipelines, and partnering with investment teams to support predictive modeling in finance.

Requirements

• Masters in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• Experience with AWS, Linux, and Airflow preferred
• Financial industry experience preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Onboard novel datasets from diverse sources
• Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and services
• Reshape, aggregate, and create features from datasets
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders to understand data characteristics
• Define and automate data alerts and reports
