Description

As a Senior Advanced Customer Support Engineer at Collibra, you will serve as the final technical authority in our global support organization. You'll investigate complex issues, mentor other engineers, and bridge the gap between customer support and product development. This hybrid role is based in Prague.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in technical customer-facing role (ideally SaaS) with 2+ years Java or Python development
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for complex query optimization and JDBC/ODBC integration
  • Ability to conduct log analysis in distributed environments
  • Understanding of SaaS/platform interactions with on-premise data sources
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert bridging customer support and product development
  • Review and validate complex tickets, ensuring exhaustive investigation before escalation
  • Identify code defects and edge cases, explaining root causes
  • Improve observability through logging and monitoring improvements
  • Mentor the global support organization via enablement, training, and knowledgebase contributions
