💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the first point of contact for tissue donation referrals, coordinating cases with hospitals and partners in a 24/7 environment. Your work ensures every donation opportunity is maximized with compassion and accuracy. This role builds toward taking family authorizations as a Donation Coordinator II.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive and process inbound referral calls and emails from hospitals and hospices.
• Coordinate tissue donation cases with recovery teams, logistics, and external partners.
• Conduct medical screening of potential donors per FDA and AATB guidelines.
• Offer suitable tissue to processing partners and accept tissue for recovery.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of disease processes and related conditions.
• Ability to use multiple computer programs simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or allied health field.
• CTP, CPTC, or CTBS certification.
