Description
As the Senior Federal Government Relations Manager, you will advance ADF's policy objectives through strategic advocacy and relationship-building with Congress, the White House, and federal agencies, with a focus on free speech and global censorship issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working on Capitol Hill, preferably with a financial services portfolio
- Knowledge of federal legislative and executive branch processes
- Ability to travel routinely to Capitol Hill and other D.C. locations
Responsibilities
- Advocate for ADF's positions on federal policy and legislation focusing on global censorship, tech policy, and free speech
- Build and leverage relationships with Members of Congress, congressional staff, and federal policymakers
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments including hearings and floor activity
- Develop advocacy strategies and assist in preparing testimony, legislation, and position papers
- Represent ADF at congressional hearings, meetings, and events, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders
