Description

You will lead Sendbird's comprehensive information security programs, manage compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 42001), and partner with engineering to embed security into our AI-first platform. This hands-on role reports to the CFO and owns global IT Operations, incident response, and building a security culture that scales with our growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years combined experience in security management and IT operations
• Proven experience running security programs at a B2B SaaS or cloud company
• Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Experience managing and mentoring a global security team
• Strong ability to communicate risk to both engineers and executives

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for Security, IT, and Compliance globally
• Own and evolve compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 42001)
• Partner with engineering on threat modeling and secure architecture
• Champion defense-in-depth philosophy across the organization
• Lead incident response and manage security for AI-driven products
