You'll build precision ultra high vacuum subassemblies for fusion energy systems on the SPARC Tokamak. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures high-quality delivery of critical components. After two years, you'll transition to installing subassemblies into the machine—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to accelerate fusion energy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build complex subassemblies maintaining cleanliness specifications
• Oversee contract technicians to ensure quality and workflow adherence
• Perform helium leak checking and other checkout tests
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to refine work instructions

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-7 years in highly technical assembly role (e.g., aerospace, semiconductor)
• 2 years leading a team of four or more
• Experience with JIRA or Manufacturo tracking software

✨ Nice to Have

• Welding experience
• Knowledge of clean room best practices
• Knowledge of cryogenic systems
