Description

Join SSI, Inc. to install, start up, troubleshoot, and maintain Variable Frequency Drives in commercial HVAC systems across a multi-state region. You will work on equipment such as AHUs, pumps, and fans at large facilities and be compensated for travel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience in the field
• Prior experience with VFDs as they apply to AHUs, pump applications, and cooling towers is a plus
• Working knowledge of the HVAC loop, circuitry, and schematics
• Building Management Systems experience / working knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to work and learn

Responsibilities

• Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and general service of VFDs
• Knowing proper operation of hand and power tools, running wires, conduit work, and use of electronic measuring tools – multi-meters, amp clamps, and harmonic analyzers
• Traveling to clients
