Description

Join SpaceX's Starlink team to design and layout custom RF and analog integrated circuits for space and ground communication systems. You will work closely with IC designers on full-chip layout, including floor planning, circuit block layout, and tape-out, contributing to the world's most advanced broadband internet constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in EE or CE with 1+ year IC layout experience, or 3+ years without degree
• Strong analog layout skills
• Experience with advanced node IC layouts (22nm, 16nm, 7nm, 5nm or below)
• Experience with layout of circuits up to 50GHz
• Experience with RF blocks like LNA, VCO, mixers

Responsibilities

• Determine chip floor plan with IC designers and packaging engineers
• Estimate layout schedules and identify early complexity areas
• Perform custom RF and analog circuit layout with matching and parasitic minimization
• Execute DRC, ERC, LVS checks and resolve errors
• Perform top-level layout integration, tape-out, and run DFM checks
