💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement scalable backend services using Rust for an enterprise application built on Clean Architecture and CQRS patterns. You'll integrate with client engineering teams and make critical architecture decisions to rapidly deliver features. This role offers ownership and autonomy in a remote-first consulting environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Rust
• Architect solutions across workspace crates (model, domain, data, service)
• Build gRPC services for inter-service communication
• Optimize data access layers for relational, time-series, and graph databases

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building backend services, with at least 2-3 years in Rust
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing
• Experience designing gRPC APIs
• Proficiency with relational, time-series, and graph databases

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Tokio or equivalent async runtime
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud monitoring tools
• Knowledge of one other backend language (C#, Go, Python)
