Description

You will design and execute capability evaluations to assess new AI models, collaborate with threat modeling experts to develop training data for safety systems, and analyze safety system performance to identify gaps. You'll partner with research, product, and policy teams to embed biological safety throughout the model development lifecycle.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular biology, virology, microbiology, biochemistry, systems/computational biology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in scientific computing and data analysis, proficiency in Python
• Deep expertise in modern biology: high-throughput measurement, functional assays, gene synthesis, genome editing, etc.
• Familiarity with dual-use research concerns, select agent regulations, and biosecurity frameworks
• Strong analytical and writing skills
