Description

You will work with Stripe's largest Terminal users, becoming a subject matter expert on SDKs, payments hardware, and device management. You will troubleshoot issues across multiple channels, identify patterns to drive product improvements, and optimize documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in networking, IT infrastructure, and/or hardware troubleshooting
• Proven ability to partner with IT teams to stand up reliable infrastructure (dedicated LANs, DHCP/DNS, firewall/proxy rules, MDM)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across device stack (OS, ROM/firmware, application layers)
• Ability to interpret logs and diagnostics from tools like Splunk, Datadog, Grafana
• Ability to self-serve basic SQL queries

Responsibilities

• Build familiarity with Stripe Terminal's product suite including card readers, Tap to Pay, POS integrations, and cloud-based device management
• Troubleshoot issues and advise users on integrations and connectivity/hardware setup across email, chat, and live calls
• Identify patterns in user issues, craft support materials, and propose improvements to the Terminal Engineering team
• Track points of friction for users and work cross-functionally to drive step-function improvements in user experience
• Optimize internal and external documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
