Description

You will develop and implement credit risk strategies for SoFi's lending products, particularly Personal Loans, using data-driven analytics to optimize underwriting, monitor portfolio risk, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue while controlling risk.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience
• Business acumen and work experience in consumer lending (loans or credit cards)
• Direct experience in credit strategy analytical life cycle including strategy and decision tree development
• Proven analytical skills using customer performance data, bureau attributes, and 3rd party variables
• Proficient data exploration and credit modeling

Responsibilities

• Architect credit underwriting, pre-screen targeting, and risk tier assignment
• Conduct deep analysis using multi-product internal, bureau, third-party, and alternative data
• Embrace a test-and-learn mentality and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with Business Units, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Compliance
• Monitor strategy performance, document results, and escalate issues
