💼 About This Role

You'll support a government client by coordinating incident response and analyzing malicious network activity. You'll assess network topologies, identify security concerns, and provide recommendations to mitigate threats. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes national security issues.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist in coordinating incident response investigations
• Analyze anomalous network activity and determine courses of action
• Collect network intrusion artifacts like PCAP and domains
• Provide technical briefings to stakeholders

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of directly relevant experience in network investigations
• In-depth knowledge of CND policies, procedures, and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of standard protocols (HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Substantial knowledge of Splunk or other SIEMs

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency with Wireshark or network analysis software
• DoD 8140 certification (e.g., CEH, GCIA)
• Experience with virtualized environments
