Description

You will oversee all aspects of electrical commissioning for projects, including first-time energization, functional testing, and schedule management. Your role ensures equipment is energized safely and in sequence to maintain the project schedule, while coordinating with the Commissioning Authority and managing third-party vendors.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of electrical construction experience
• Experience with energization and switching of electrical equipment
• Knowledgeable of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with Lock-Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E trained

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead field execution of commissioning including switching and functional testing
• Develop electrical commissioning and testing procedures
• Validate installation and pre-functional checklists for electrical gear
• Manage third-party vendors for specialized equipment commissioning
• Report on progress to Commissioning Manager
