You'll collaborate with external game studios to optimize their Unity projects, solve challenging technical problems, and help bridge customer needs with Unity's internal engine team. Your core impact will be ensuring high-performance, visually stunning games ship on time across multiple platforms. This role offers the variety of working with top studios and the depth of diving into cutting-edge rendering and engine technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate with external customer teams to develop games and production tools.
• Assist in planning projects by evaluating, scoping, and estimating tasks.
• Build relationships with internal Unity teams and provide customer feedback.
• Visit customers for short-term consultations to improve their existing projects.

📋 Requirements

• Experience on a variety of game projects across multiple platforms.
• Deep technical expertise in the Unity ecosystem including C# and modern render pipelines.
• Experience with modern graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX12) and shader languages.
• Proven ability to profile and optimize CPU, GPU, and memory usage using Unity Profiler and RenderDoc.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-performance paradigms like DOTS, ECS and the C# Job System.
• Experience with Version Control (Git/Perforce) in a production environment.
• Experience delivering technical talks and writing technical articles.
